“We’re interest in protecting and preserving hunting family
time, and passed-down traditions,” said Carl Machamer, a spokesman for Hunters United
for Sunday Hunting, or HUSH, grassroots, pro-hunting organization based in
Harrisburg. He said weekend hunting is popular among families, and the Keystone
State is losing revenue to neighbor’s, including West Virginia, New York and
Ohio, that allow Sunday hunting. They’re
all benefiting from Pennsylvania
He said hunters were important to conservation efforts and
they play a vital role in population control, as well as preservation and
protection of outdoor areas.

There is absolutely no reason, at minimal, that hunters that own and or hunt on private property should not have the right to hunt it on Sundays. Its time to join the other 47 states and do the right thing. Instead of thinking 1 of the last 3 hold outs is correct and the other 47 are not. Open your eyes. PA is in the stone ages thanks to its bloated and inept government. Sorry I'm not trying to hurt any feelings here, but facts are facts. I lost 11 years of hunting to a 6 day a week job. Only day I had off was Sunday. I've been a hunter in PA since 1977
