THANKSGIVING MESSAGE TO GRASSROOT VOLUNTEERS

Thanksgiving message from Harold Daub, Executive Director

Dear HUSH Supporter;

I want to wish each of you a very happy Thanksgiving.  I hope everyone can spend some quality time with your families, please give thanks for this great country we live in and the freedoms we all enjoy.

Our efforts to remove the prohibition of hunting on Sundays in Pennsylvania is significantly ahead of schedule.  We have a very good chance of making significant progress in the 2019/2020 legislative sessions.  This is all due to you, the grassroots volunteer.

I also want to wish each of you venturing into Penns Woods on Monday the best of luck.  Be safe and hunt safely.  Regardless of our age, hunting creates memories as we all know.

While you pass time on the stand over the next two weeks.  I'd like to suggest a few links to some great reading material you can look at while waiting for that next twig to snap, leaf to rustle, or deer to blow.

Our blog has a ton of great reading material related to our mission.  Being familiar with these facts is a valuable tool when the discussions about what we are trying to accomplish begin in your hunting circle. https://huntersforsundayhunting.blogspot.com/

Here is a fresh article on the effort to remove the Sunday hunting prohibition. Feel free to share this link with others.  This was published just this week and will appear in the Sunday edition of the York Daily Record, written by John Buffone.

As you read the article give some consideration as to how you would respond to the question as to why you support updating the law and removing the barrier to Sunday hunting.  Please put your thoughts into words and send them to me at huntersforsundayhunting@gmail.com so we can add them to our file.  Your personal stories will help in making the difference in this effort as legislatures read them.

Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers.   I greatly appreciate the response this mission has received from all of you.
