Beginning on March 27th until April 6th, I conducted a poll across my Senatorial District, which consists of Bradford, Lycoming, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Union Counties, to measure support / opposition to Sunday hunting in Pennsylvania.

While I personally do not oppose Sunday hunting, I certainly respect the views of those who I represent in rural Pennsylvania. As you can see from the graphics below, the results are in! A total of 2,831 votes were cast from across the state (multiple votes cast by the same individual were removed from the poll). Further a total of 1,112 votes were cast from individuals who reside in the region I represent.

  1. Approve Sunday hunting , we need the time to get young hunters involved , we can do everything else in pa. On Sunday why not hunt, also I can be with God in his great outdoors.

  2. parents work through the week and can only hunt sometimes just Sunday if they work Saturdays. the price of the license and you only get to hunt a few days of the season is why you loose sales. its just not worth it to some. we need the youth to hunt and understand nature and be one with it. We need Sunday hunting . Denise Naugle

  3. Let's get out of the unconstitutional era "blue laws". Open Sunday hunting state wide!
